I am a pre-tenured associate professor in the Intelligent Information Processing Laboratory (IIPL), School of Communication Engineering, Hangzhou Dianzi University (HDU). Before joining HDU, I received my Ph.D. degree in the LIU Laboratory for SMART Animal Management (SmartAM), City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in 2023, and supervised by Prof. Kai Liu.
My research particularly focuses on using machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and wearable sensors for animal identification and tracking, behavior estimation, and acoustic detection.
